Feels wrong to move on
But tell me
What have I done
To fix myself in a way that’s helped
To change my disposition
This time I’ll try
For the last time in my life
Kill the lights and say good night
On these streets paved with my grief
Why do I navigate incessantly
A bad habit
A lesson in instability
So many roads lead the way home
But my memories are potholes
Because I feel like I’ve been swerving
And ignoring what I hate
Drag me down, lock me in
I’ve been trapped too long by careless indecision
But why stay
Nowhere to go
I’ll break free from this vice
That I put myself in
Because my patience is wasted
And my conscience unclean
Tell me - where do I go
What do I lose by leaving a place I can’t call home
Who do I betray
When I abandon this place
Am I so far gone or too undone
Who do I betray
When I abandon this place
Am I so far gone or too undone
That I can’t change
The Saddest Landscape slaps me harder than my dad and it's ripping my chest as I put the whole tracks on repeat for some time now, will always gets me in the goddamn feels. Han Razak
Insane album. Had to buy it as soon as I heard it and is honestly a 2023 AOTY contender for me. The lyrics are so simple yet evocative and the music is a vicious scream for change in a unchanging world and contempt for the way everything is and seemingly will be/has been for all of our history. I heard Deathless before this and this just absolutely blows it out of the water. sum1elses
